Review of BenQ EL2870U 4K monitor with HDR not corresponding to the basics
Most people today still use 1080p monitors, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But now that prices for 4K screens have become more affordable, it’s easier than ever to buy extra pixels. One such inexpensive monitor is the BenQ EL2870U.
I tested the EL2870U to see how good it is for an entry-level 4K monitor. In addition to the high resolution screen, this 27-inch display also includes HDR support and useful blue light reduction settings.
The BenQ EL2870U isn’t the best monitor I’ve ever seen, but for $450 it offers 4K and HDR. Is this enough to buy it? Let’s find out.
